Assuming you did the task on Day 1, Seed Keywords and Their Rankings — it is time for us to do some research on our competitors’ keywords or key phrases.
The more keywords we can extract, the better. You may need to list the top 3 competitors you have in mind. Then you can add as you progress in the future.
You may use SEO tools like SEMRush or PowerSuite: Rank Tracker. Or you may do it manually, which might be time-consuming. We recommend using a tool: either FREE or a premium keyword research tool.
How long does it take to search on my competitors’ key phrases and keywords?
It takes about 30 minutes if you are using an SEO tool; and perhaps about an hour or two if you are doing it manually via the search engines.
